Jess Couser
Jess brings a well-rounded background in finance, client service, and marketing to her role as Marketing Manager and Advisor at Headwater. With experience in the wholesale mortgage industry, financial aid counseling, and business operations within higher education, she understands the many financial decisions individuals and families face. Now furthering her education to become a financial advisor, she is committed to helping clients navigate their financial journeys with clarity and confidence.
Known for her strong communication skills and attention to detail, Jess works closely with both clients and colleagues to ensure a seamless experience. Whether developing marketing strategies, managing client outreach, or supporting financial planning initiatives, she approaches her work with a thoughtful, client-first mindset.
Originally from Colorado, Jess has lived in Oregon for over 15 years and enjoys being an active part of the community. She is currently participating in the McMinnville Chamber’s Leadership MAC program and also works part-time at R. Stuart & Co. Winery, where she shares her appreciation for Willamette Valley wines. Outside of work, she enjoys distance running, experimenting in the kitchen, and spending time outdoors with her husband and their two senior dogs—a border collie mix and an energetic labradoodle.
